Pickle Score ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Pickle Score mobile application (the "App").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

We collect the following categories of information to operate and improve the App.

2.1 Information You Provide

When you use Pickle Score, you may voluntarily provide information such as your display name, email address (when creating an account), and any preferences you configure inside the App.

2.2 Match History

The App stores match data you create, including scores, timestamps, game format, and outcomes. This match data belongs to you and is used to power statistics, history, and progress tracking inside the App.

2.3 Player Names

You may enter player names to record who participated in a match. These names are stored with your match data. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to enter another person's name.

2.4 Device Information

We may collect limited device information such as device model, operating system version, language, and crash diagnostics. This helps us maintain compatibility and stability.

2.5 Analytics Information

We use analytics tools to understand how the App is used in aggregate, including feature usage, session duration, and non-personal performance metrics. Analytics data is not used to identify individual users.

3.1 Firebase Authentication

If you choose to create an account, Firebase Authentication securely manages your sign-in credentials. We do not store your password directly.

3.2 Firebase Firestore

When cloud sync is enabled, your match history and player data are stored in Firebase Firestore so you can access them across devices. Data is protected by security rules limiting access to the account owner.

3.3 Firebase Storage

Any optional images or files you upload (such as a profile picture) may be stored in Firebase Storage. You can delete these at any time from within the App.

The free version of Pickle Score may display advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain identifiers (such as an advertising ID) to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. You can control ad personalization in your device settings.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the App's core features.
• Save and sync your match history and player statistics.
• Improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Diagnose crashes and technical issues.
• Display advertisements in the free version.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We never sell your personal information. Your match data belongs to you and is used solely to provide and improve the App.

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and strict Firebase security rules. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data and associated match history from our active systems within a reasonable timeframe, subject to legal retention requirements.

Pickle Score uses trusted third-party services including Google Firebase and Google AdMob. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies and applicable data-processing agreements.

Pickle Score is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

The App may be accessed from anywhere in the world. By using Pickle Score, you acknowledge that your information may be processed and stored in countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You may delete your account and associated data at any time from within the App's settings, or by emailing us at support@picklescore.app. Once your account is deleted, your match history and personal data will be permanently removed from our active systems.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Effective Date". Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
